Description / Motivation

All your lifetime you are alone in your head. When speaking with others, much information about their thinking, their intentions and their desires is lost. Since you can't share this information as a whole you are limited to your point of view. As a result of this, your work/your life is misunderstood. Nobody else would feel exact the same when creating the same work. What is left, is the knowledge you dance for yourself all the time.

Description / Motivation

The universe is a dark, cold and empty place. Stars are isles where we can warm up in their light. But only a few have a stable system where you could stay for your lifetime. The same applies to our loved ones. Simply weave these things together and lock your love to a distant object, which will exist for an incredible amount of time. Name stars for your loved ones and a look up into the sky will return the moment of naming.

Chase your rainbow

Description / Motivation

Imagine your life is a journey chasing your own rainbow. It begins when the rainbow is first seen in the sky. On the way you will notice the path you walk is full of wonders, interesting things and rules while others crossing your path. First you are excited, then this excitement flattens out and you circle around your own constantly. After some time your path becomes very rocky here and there and the memories from the excitement came back. But your rainbow begins to disappear. You left behind the rules, wonders and others. You are in hurry and your head is constantly asking: "Why it needed the rocky path? Why I've not been excited? Why I haven't seen this earlier?"

Don't wait for the rocky path. Get excited every day about what is around you. Use your limited time before your rainbow disappears.

Icy prison

Description / Motivation

People build their own prisons by avoiding things at any cost. Eventually feeling comfortable with the situation. Until a point where the others are locked out completely and without a real chance to show what is lost by wandering around in that self-made prison. These prisoners are only comfortable with people whose situations are similar to theirs, in hope of acceptance and confirmation of the path that was chosen.

That in the end is what we all wish any way, so there's no need to build the prison in the first place.

There're days where someone puts you under a spell. Okay, this happens every day to me. But such spells may have unpredictable side effects. It's like thinking of a crowd naked during presentations. To see an unpredictable side effect, just think of the spell caster the same way. At least you have a funny time.

World of dreams

Description / Motivation

Our dreams are an integral part of us. These grow with time and achived goals. Every little step towards the goals of these dreams makes us excited. But in daily life we don't often have the opportunity to target these dreams. A lack or even a constant repulsion of the next goal from our dreams will end in an unhappy being. But the worst case is just to decide not chasing these dreams anymore. It's like losing the ships anchor, drifting away from any point at any time. From project to project, without finishing something.

Description / Motivation

From time to time we have dips in our freedom. We are forced to do things, completely out of our control. We can stand like a rock for a period of time, but this time is not unlimited. In this case we need a safe harbour in the space of others. There are people willing to help, regardsless of any return. They offer you a protection for your life, if you can accept there's no way to disappoint your helper. They know your discomfort already.

Please use offered help in hard situations.

Description / Motivation

Sometimes we hit a wall with full emotions enabled. When a decision is needed while this is happening, the wrong one comes with a shiny outfit and a bright smile. Don't trust yourself here. Take a step back if possible and rethink the situation an atmosphere you can feel - you can breath - you can control.

As an outsider, your arguments are rejected in such times. Only the future will tell the reality. But often to late, triggering new emotions.

Description / Motivation

Living in the woods without any people is a good idea, hm? We all had this dream at least as a child. But when you are young, you are protected by your parents. No need to worry, no need to be afraid, no need to see things you don't want to. A fantasy land where you feed squirrels and birds all day long. But the nature is harsh, you need good planning to survive. Without others you lose the comfort time for yourself, inverting the dream.

Please don't reject all humanity.

Hi,

Feyd here. This page is just to show progress in building images with a graphic tablet (lent from my daughter) by myself. Maybe I'm able to inspire my children by this somehow. Maybe others. Maybe no one. At least I've a hobby for some time, in which I can express my thoughts differently, channel my feelings, describe the world from my point of view, scroll through my own history, pack knowledge and will understand the whole universe for a second or two.

As design target, I've chosen artwork which reflects a deeper meaning (at least for me). I would describe myself as Romantic-Epicurean-Nihilist. If such formular is allowed to exist. \o/

Big thanks to a dear friend I don't see very often, inspiring me with her own work to do this.
